Do you want to drink at a totally legitimate establishment?Then come on down to the Wayward Bar, home to the salty crew of the Wayward Star and the Shatterfist!Drink away your sorrows in the company of others. Enjoy an enriching meal! Delight in some sweet, sweet rum cake, baked to perfection by our resident pinkafell. Be enamoured by song and dance. Do shots. Watch the former captain get shot (repeatedly).Cause trouble, get thrown out, because we have a strict “no foightin” rule. If you must, take it outside, it's easier to clear the blood from the grass.The ground floor is the bar, stage and kitchen. Downstairs is the lounge and study. Upstairs we have our clinic and barracks. So if you get too drunk or need to stay the night, accommodation is available. What more excuse do you need to drink to insensibility?Occassionally we will host performances on the stage. Our more frequent performers include Lulumina Lumina, who sings bawdy songs not for the feint of heart, Yesunova, who is a traditional Xaela storyteller, musician and dancer, and Naomi the talented bard, whose dances may entrance you.Have a drink. Have a meal. Hang out with pirates!((Note: all prices are IC gil only, we charge no OOC gil, though tips are, of course, always welcome!))

Vacancies

Are you interested in working the bar? Want to have your hand at interacting with and serving our guests? Want to try you hand at making drinks or delicious food and making sure our guests are happy? The by all means! Come apply. We accept applicants from people who wish to serve the bar but not join the FC. The majority of our communication is done via linkshell and Discord, meaning if you are already committed to another FC, you won't be disadvantaged.
If you wish to join the FC, however, we are accepting applications there too and we'd be happy to consider you.

Bar Staff

As it stands we are most in need of people to wait the bar so the organisers can be free to put together more in the running of the bar, such as running a playlist, doing a performance or organising other forms of entertainment.You main duties will be to greet guests as they come in, to offer them a menu and drinks. Once a guest has made an order then fulfil it. If it looks like nobody is RPing with somebody at the bar, bar staff may wish to help engage with them, initially with small talk. If the person does not bite, move onto somebody else.You will need to be available 9pm-11pm GMT on Tuesdays as this is when the bar night runs.If you wish to apply, please fill the contact below and let us know if you are interested and any questions you may have and we will get back to you.
